CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
It is the aim of NDA to develop the whole person and so our co-curricular activities provide opportunities for this beyond the academic curriculum. Involvement in school activities will allow students to have fun with their friends, meet new friends, become more well-rounded, cooperative, informed, and involved in the pulse of Notre Dame Academy. Clubs offer a great way to focus on personal interests and expand your horizons.
Students are encouraged to participate in some activity in order to learn the balance between academics and other areas of their lives. We recognize the importance of academics, but we also recognize that universities and colleges look for individuals who have actively participated in school activities and can demonstrate the ability to balance daily schedules. Clubs and school activities are a great way to do this.

SCHOOL CLOSINGS/EARLY DISMISSAL
Notre Dame Academy follows Sylvania city schools closing and delay policies. When inclement weather prevents the buses from running, the radio stations will be called and an announcement will be made. The announcement will say: "Sylvania city schools are closed (or delayed)." Usually this will be taken care of by 6:30 a.m. Since we are dependent on buses, however, we must wait until we have been notified before canceling school. Parents/Guardians are asked NOT to call the school but to listen to the radio/TV for this information. Stations are listed below:
