Girls interested in exploring being part of Notre Dame Academy’s 7th and 8th grade classes in the fall have until May 18 to experience what it is like to be an eagle by “shadowing” for a day. To arrange a shadow day, contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Students who shadow will have host student who will escort her for the day, introducing her to NDA’s student-centered schedule which includes mid-morning flex time for meeting with teachers or friends and a single lunch period for the entire school so students can always connect with their friends.
Notre Dame’s pre-IB (International Baccalaureate) 7th and 8th grades prepare middle school students for high school and beyond with hand-on STEM investigation, critical thinking, and time management skills. 96% of NDA eighth graders take high school courses. In 2016, both the valedictorian and salutatorian started at Notre Dame prior to high school.
Notre Dame Academy is a Catholic college preparatory school for young women in grades 7-12. Sponsored by the Sisters of Notre Dame, it promoted the holistic development and empowerment of young women for leadership and service.
