Our Purpose...Notre Dame Academy is devoted to an outstanding educational experience. Our academic expertise, paired with our commitment to Christian values, challenges and prepares our girls to go out into the world as open-minded communicators, strong leaders and logical thinkers . Our mission uniquely differentiates Notre Dame Academy as a exceptional college preparatory school with a proven reputation in the development of extraordinary individuals.

Our History... Notre Dame Academy is fully accredited by the Ohio State Department of Education.  The Sisters of Notre Dame have sponsored the school since its founding in 1904.  With Rome as the location for their Generalate, the Sisters belong to the Toledo Province of the Sisters of Notre Dame.  The present site of the Academy was dedicated on September 8, 1960.  Since that time its enrollment has more than doubled; yet each new year sees the Academy endeavoring to maintain the same spirit of its one hundred years of guidance and education of young women.
