What is CCHD?

The Catholic Campaign for Human Development is a domestic, anti-poverty, social justice program. This organization addresses the root causes of poverty in America through promotion and support of community-controlled, self-help organizations and through transformative education.

MAIN GOAL: Provide schools and parishes an opportunity to engage the entire community in learning about:

1.How low income persons effectively lead efforts to address causes of poverty in their communities

2.Catholics are called to participate and put in effort

3.What people in their communities are doing to address the causes of poverty
