	We all know that poverty exists in the United States, but often times we don't know how to help the situation. Even if we may feel helpless sometimes, there are many other times that we can make a difference. Many people also need to reflect on their talents and use them to the fullest to make a difference in their own special way. Below are some examples of how to get involved in the fight to eradicate poverty, and what talents the examples cater to.
	Get Involved! Type of Work Service Opportunity Talent Requirement Charity Helping at a Parish or community food drive Good organizational skills Donating money to a charity in your community Generosity Cooking and/or serving food at a community soup kitchen A passion for food and cooking Holding a clothing drive Good organizational skills Justice Writing to a government official for more government involvement in the eradication of poverty Good writing and grammar skills Working at a center for life and counseling women about alternatives to abortions Good people skills and patience Tutoring kids after school Patience, good teaching skills, and a good GPA Participating in a program that draws awareness to homelessness (such as Box City) An open mind and sympathy
