NDA Volunteers
There are many ways to be involved at Notre Dame Academy. Whether you volunteer on a weekly basis or a yearly basis, your help is greatly appreciated!
Print and fill out this form to get started.
There are numerous events and opportunities that arise throughout the school year for which volunteers are needed. Parents, as well as grandparents, alumnae and others are welcome to help as needed.*
Thank you to all of the wonderful Notre Dame parent bakers who provide sweet treats for the Bake Sales, and to Marie Fritsch who coordinates that effort. The money raised goes to a worthy cause and the girls love the goodies!
Current Opportunities |
We are looking for help from 4:30PM until 6:00PM on school days with those students who are waiting to be picked up from school. It is our intention to have an adult presence during this time when the students are gathered in Lobby D. Support and training will be provided, although we are not expecting the parent to be a disciplinarian. If you are able to spend 90 minutes to assist in this effort, on an occasional or regular basis, please contact Helen Kirk, Volunteer Coordinator, at hkirk@nda.org.
Mardi Gras is coming up! The Sophomore class sponsors this popular fundraising event. Money raised will go toward the Sisters of Notre Dame in Papua New Guinea and The Daughter Project. We have many opportunities to help during the event, which is from 12:20-2:30PM on Tuesday, February 21. We have two shifts available: 12:20-1:25 or 1:25-2:30. There are also some tasks which need to be completed on the day of the event, before and after the event itself. Please send an email to Helen Kirk, Volunteer Coordinator, at hkirk@nda.org if you can help with Mardi Gras.
Chaperones are needed for Date Dance, sponsored by Student Council, on Saturday, February 11 from 8-11PM. Chaperones should plan to arrive at 7:40PM. We are looking for 7 dads and 7 moms. Please contact Helen Kirk, Volunteer Coordinator, at hkirk@nda.org if you can help.
There are 22 Catholic elementary schools from which Notre Dame Academy draws many students. The Admissions Department is interested in securing the directories for these schools, so that students can be invited to summer programs and to discover the great education that Notre Dame provides. If you have children who attend these schools, or other connections, would you be willing to provide NDA with a copy of the directory? Please contact Helen Kirk, Volunteer Coordinator, at hkirk@nda.org to tell her which school directory you have, and then drop it off in the Main Office.
